We work across all major clouds, and we're not entirely averse to on-premise either.
Our Principal Engineer has built, managed and maintained significant workloads and applications across all three major cloud vendors, as well as some more niche providers. We lean toward Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, but also retain skills in ARM, CloudFormation and the respective API and CLI offerings.

Our preferred CD platform is Octopus Deploy, a Brisbane-based Continuous Delivery vendor with a global reputation, but we’ve also built and maintained systems on other platforms, from Github, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, GitLab, CircleCI, BuildKite and others.

We offer an evolving suite of educational services and tools
We are actively developing seminars, talks and video-based content to help you and your staff skill up on the state of DevOps. The CloudyOpsPoet YouTube channel will be a major outlet for this, but there’ll also be in-person meetups and conferences, and engagements are available on requst at your office.
We also have a partner service, DevUps, which is a community-run mentoring space for DevOps and allied professionals, and can help with 1:1 mentoring and coaching.
Web Services - Web Hosting, Development and Consulting
Yes, we can provide website design, build and hosting too.
Sure, you could use some of those build-your-own website services you heard about on a podcast, but why don’t you just concentrate on your actual business and let someone else do that bit? Want to use your own designer, but you’re not sure how to make those lovely PDFs into a web page? Give us a shout.
How much we charge
All services are available on an hourly rate, per-project or via a fixed retainer. For our most common DevOps services, we charge around the AU$250 per hour mark - but every job is different. Please get in touch to discuss.
For web, translation and copy-editing services, we charge around the AU$50 per hour ballpark, again by negotiation
If you’re a startup with a tiny budget, that’s OK. Give us a shout, if your project has a noble goal or has an intriguing purpose, we can definitely come to an arrangement. Educational and Social Service organisations always get a discount.
We won’t work for companies in the gambling, mobile gaming, petrochemical, mining or incarceration industries, and we won’t touch blockchain projects with a giant stick. Sorry not sorry.
